On the 4th and 5th december the German Championship Agility was held near Heidelberg. Overall 300 dogs were qualified. Included 2 Cairns.

Through the year there were serveral tournaments for the qualification and so only the best 75 dogs from each class were able to start. The championship was held in a beautyfull sporting hall as you can see on the picture below.

In Mini and Midi a lot of terriers are in the competion ; Welsh, Manchester, Border, Westies, Parson and Jack Russell and Yorkies shows there agility temperament. One of the Jack´s won the Mini Championship.

And our Cairns? Sorriliy "Duffy" and her handler Anette got 2 disqualifications ( the judge doesn´t exept the short way from the bridge). Time was good. "Maggie" and Katharina found themself 19th after the 2 runs after 25th in the first run. "Maggie" have had 1 fould in the 2nd run and so she missed a better placing. Otherwise she was able to get the 8th or 9th place without this mistake. She was only 2 sec. behind the winner.

We all looking foreward to 2005 and hope that a Cairn will win .
